Supporting Community-Driven Food Solutions

A thriving food system depends on solution-driven organizations. We support organizations with grants, and technical assistance to drive systemic change.

Investing in People, Systems, and Growth

Good Food Buffalo Coalition

Good Food Communities Convening

In October 2024, the Good Food Buffalo Coalition (GFBC) hosted a convening that brought together partners from 13 foundations and attendees from 26 community-based organizations across the United States. As a grassroots advocacy organization promoting values-based public institutional procurement in WNY, GFBC designed the event to engage funders and community partners in discussions about the Good Food Purchasing Program (GFPP). The gathering had two key goals: introducing WNY-area funders to GFPP’s impact through national and local perspectives, and strengthening relationships among community organizations and GFBC partners to advance justice and transparency in our local food systems.
